NPI Engineer

£32,000 - £38,500 negotiable, Rotherham, Permanent, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, pension, monthly bonus scheme, free car parking, bonus schemes, excellent development opportunities, 9% pension contribution.

Due to securing multiple new contracts, our client based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham is looking to recruit an NPI Engineer on a full time permanent basis. With an extremely healthy order book this an incredibly exciting time to be joining this business. Reporting into the Quality Manager you will;

• Lead and manage new product introduction projects from concept to production


• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation


• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet targets


• Co-ordinate NPI meetings as required


• Produce and develop designs through from concept into production, ensuring all design modifications/improvements are captured and implemented


• Interpret Engineering Drawings, Specifications and CAD models


• Facilitate feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product designs


• Develop, document, and implement manufacturing processes for new products


• Optimise production processes for efficiency, cost, and quality


• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure processes meet all specifications and standards


• Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders


• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for tooling and material requirements


• Plan and oversee the testing and validation of new products to ensure they meet all regulatory and customer requirements

This role would suit someone who has previous New Production Introduction Engineer or Improvement experience working within the oil and gas or aerospace industry or within a heat treatment, foundry, steelworks or castings environment.
