Nightshift Despatch

NIGHTSHIFT DESPATCH ASSISTANT - INVERNESS

We are looking for a Nightshift Despatch Assistant to work with our client here in Inverness. Our client is a local bakery. Hours of work will be flexible on occasions with the main shift starting at 9.00 pm and finishing at 04.00 am. Sunday through to Friday, every Saturday off and one other night off during the week, different each week. On occasion the shift would change to 5.00 pm start to 01.00 am finish.

Key responsibilities:

1. Pick and Pack bakery products accurately.
2. Check quality of goods before despatch.
3. Load delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
4. Maintain a clean and safe working area.
5. Follow health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:-

• Previous warehouse/despatch or food handling experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Ability to work night shifts and in a fast paced environment.
• Flexible to work changing hours, but always nights.
• Good team player.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Physically fit to handle manual work.

This role is initially a temporary contract, however, there could be a permanent role offered at the end of the temporary contract. Rate/hr is £15. On occasions overtime is available. Due to the location of the client site, and the 4.00 am finish, candidates with own transport would be preferred.
