Night Head Chef - Corporate Catering Facility

Location: Leixlip, Co. Kildare

Salary: €50,960 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Night Head Chef to lead the culinary operation within a busy corporate catering facility in Leixlip.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong kitchen leader who is passionate about food quality, team development, and delivering exceptional catering services in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the night shift kitchen operation.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality food to company standards.
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop the kitchen team.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, HACCP, health and safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support menu development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with management to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume catering, hospitality, or food service environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable.
Working Hours

This role operates predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, offering an excellent work-life balance compared to traditional hospitality environments. However, flexibility is required during peak business periods, holidays, and special events to meet operational requirements.
