Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, etc).
• Promote dignity, independence, and individual rights of residents.
• Supervise and support junior care staff and new team members.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to senior management or nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, ensuring they feel listened to and respected.
• Ensure the care environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Genuine passion for elderly care and team development.
• Ability to develop and mentor others.

Hours: 44 per week (Nights and alternate weekends)
