Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help keep the Waitrose brand experience exceptional by providing Partner-led customer service. Your drive will help customers feel the difference at every visit and build loyalty over time.

Applicants must be 18 years or older due to working time regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are always full and products are placed correctly.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for driver delivery.
• Reducing waste by marking down items nearing sell-by dates.
• Supporting the shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, on-demand orders and other tasks.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy working environment through general shop-keeping duties.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous customer-facing role.
• Knowledge and interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the whole branch.

Hours and Shift Details

Varied part-time work: 15 hours across six nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) between 00:00 and 08:00.

Pre employment Vetting
