What your day will look like?

As our Night Receptionist, you are the face of The Trafalgar St. James during the twilight hours, ensuring our standard of exceptional service never sleeps. You will take ownership of the night time guest experience, seamlessly blending front desk duties with operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the Ultimate Host: Act as the first point of contact for late arrivals, providing a warm, sophisticated welcome and efficiently managing late check ins and overnight calls.

• Anticipate & Deliver: Proactively anticipate guest needs and provide flawless service, which includes assisting with overnight in room dining requests.

• Drive Loyalty: Actively promote the Hilton Honors program and ensure guests are aware of its benefits.

• Financial Accuracy: Take responsibility for running the night audit and accurately posting overnight room charges.

• Operational Excellence: Maintain the pristine appearance of our public areas throughout the night and act as vital support to the Night Manager during any out of hours emergencies.

What You'll Bring?

The ideal candidate is a person who ensures that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times, while ensuring the safety of the hotel overnight. The ability to multitask and prioritise is important, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, produce quality work and be flexible to work shifts.

Experience within a similar environment is preferable, however, we look for attitude, quality and interpersonal skills rather than experience and will give you the tools to ensure you are successful in your role.
