Organised, reliable and good under pressure?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing produce wholesaler supplying some of the UK's best restaurants, chefs and hospitality businesses. Working closely with British growers and farms, this business prides itself on exceptional service, high-quality produce and doing things properly.
If you enjoy customer service, thrive in a fast-paced environment and like being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the role for you.
What's on offer?- £13.20 per hour
- Monday-Thursday working pattern (6pm - 1am)
- 28 hours per week
- Office-based role
- Join a growing, ambitious business
- Work alongside a close-knit and supportive team
- Genuine responsibility from day one
- Opportunity to work with some of the UK's leading restaurants and hospitality businesses
You'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and ready for the warehouse and delivery teams each night.
This role sits right at the centre of the evening operation, working closely with customer service, warehouse and delivery teams to make sure everything is organised before the overnight shift begins.
Day to day, you'll be:- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Making order amendments when required
- Checking delivery routes and ensuring customer information is correct
- Booking third-party couriers when needed
- Responding to customer queries and messages
- Supporting chefs and hospitality customers with availability and delivery questions
- Identifying and resolving issues before they become problems
- Ensuring the warehouse and delivery teams receive a clear and accurate handover for the night ahead
This is a role where attention to detail is critical. A small mistake in the evening can affect what arrives in a restaurant kitchen the following morning.
What do I need?- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and online systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and stay organised during busy periods
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfort working independently as the evening progresses
- A customer-focused mindset
Experience in customer service, hospitality, logistics, food wholesale, order processing or delivery operations would be beneficial, but it's not essential. The right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
