Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Band 6 Neonatal staff nurses to join the Neonatal Unit at the Whittington Health Trust. We are ranked as 'Outstanding' for caring by the Care Quality Commission. If you are looking for flexible work that can fit around your family commitments this could be just what you are looking for! We are a level 2 unit within the North Central North East London Perinatal Network. We provide specialist care to neonates from 27 weeks gestation.

The unit have a family-focused philosophy in which staff and parents work together in partnership to provide the highest standards of care and we actively support developmental care.

Main duties of the job

Band 6 NICU Staff Nurse Neonatal Nursing Team Full-Time: 37.5 Hours per week

We are looking for Band 6 Neonatal nurses to come and join our team of experienced and friendly Neonatal Nurses who provide specialist care to Neonates from 27 weeks gestation.

There are opportunities to develop clinical skills in a highly supportive environment, with a Practice Educator and Advanced Nurse Practitioner in post. There is also the opportunity to rotate in to the community working with the community neonatal sister.

Person Specification Education/ Qualifications
  • Valid registration as an RN/RSCN/RM Neonatal Course (405 or equivalent - local requirement)
  • Neonatal/Paediatric nursing experience ENB 997/998
