NHS Lothian is recruiting a Senior Research Nurse. This is a fixed-term position for 4 years.

The Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) seeks experienced, enthusiastic Clinical Research Nurses to form a new team supporting the NHS Lothian Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) at the Western General Hospital.

The CRDC is part of the 2024 Investment program supporting patient access to medicines, NHS sustainability, and the UK life sciences sector ( 2024 voluntary scheme for branded medicines pricing, access and growth - GOV.UK ).

Post holders will deliver high-quality nursing care for patients and volunteers in clinical research, supporting investigators and research teams to ensure safety and efficiency.

Edinburgh CRF already supports research through three facilities at the Western General Hospital, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. The CRDC will expand capacity to support commercial research.
