Role Overview

Accordience is seeking an ambitious and proactive New Business & Marketing Manager to drive growth through strategic marketing initiatives and new business development. This role will play a crucial part in coordinating multi-agency pitches, spearheading prospecting activities, tracking performance against targets, and continuously refining our approach and processes.

The day to day

  • Track and report on performance: Maintain the central new business tracker, monitoring new business performance and preparing regular reports to inform senior leadership and support decision-making.
  • Pitch and proposal development: Be a partner to integrated agency teams when working on group or multi-agency new business, advising proposals and presentations.
  • Lead prospecting strategy: Drive proactive prospecting activity both at a group and agency level. Bring fresh thinking to how teams can go to market, develop new products or utilise tools. Actively seek and attend meetings with potential clients, acting as a credible ambassador for the group.
  • Systems and research : Ensure teams are regularly tracking marketing and leads through CRM and updating regularly updated with accurate data.
  • Marketing content and comms: Oversee Accordience's content output - aiming for one original post and two curated or reposted items per week. Work closely with agency marketing leads to align messaging. Keep Accordience websites up to date with news, insights, and case studies, ensuring content is refreshed monthly and technical maintenance is carried out as needed.
  • Internal alignment and knowledge sharing: Facilitate insight sharing across the group, both internal learnings and external market intelligence - to drive smarter working and greater collaboration.
  • Process improvement: Lead regular reviews of internal processes, identifying efficiencies and implementing enhancements to improve effectiveness across new business and marketing efforts.

About you

  • Proven track record in new business development and marketing coordination, ideally within a multi-agency or consultancy environment.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, LinkedIn, and preferably website CMS platforms.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative product and service ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
