A leading healthcare system is seeking a BE/BC Neurosurgeon to join an established team in Eastern Connecticut along the Long Island Sound.
Position Highlights:- Join an established team of 3 full-time Neurosurgeons
- Immediate volume with 100+ cases expected in year one
- 200-250 cases annually once established
- Primary focus on spine surgery
- Support for complex spine, general intracranial, and basic neurotrauma interests
- Opportunity to help maintain a fully autonomous neurosurgery program
- 24/7 neurosurgery call coverage
- Q3 call schedule supported by mid-level providers
- Block OR time
- Separate medical and surgical ICUs
- 12 operating rooms
- 24/7 trauma and neurohospitalist coverage
- Level III Trauma Center
- Partnership between orthopedic spine and neuro-spine surgeons
- Shared PA support between Neurosurgery and Orthopedics
- Advanced technology including Globus spine robot, Stealth Navigation with O-arm, and Zeiss Kinevo Microscope
- Two ambulatory clinic locations, including a marquee neuroscience center in a picturesque shoreline community
- Work alongside neurosurgeons and a full-time PA
