Job Description
With more than 160 occupational therapists representing 60%, the University Hospitals of Geneva are a reference establishment at the national level. This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, with neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological, and otolaryngological conditions. The care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of patients ranging from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to the rehabilitation sectors of the department, aiming to bring them towards greater autonomy through education, support, and follow-up. It ensures rehabilitation services such as guidance, to promote an early return home. In the same vein, treatments are also emphasized and activities optimized to facilitate access to care in a timely manner. The service takes care of individuals suffering from sequelae of a system X, with the objective of leading them to the best independence and social reintegration. As an occupational therapist, you will ensure, under medical prescription, the therapy treatment for a patient hospitalized at the Bellerive Hospital and/or at the Beau Séjour Hospital. You manage and update the patient records by documenting the interventions as well as establishing the therapy objectives during interdisciplinary meetings (visits and/or discussions). You primarily carry out treatments, participate in projects of the Clinical Neuroscience Department and occupational therapy, and hold a degree in occupational therapy or a related diploma. You are proficient in basic tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have an interest or clinical experience in the fields of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and rehabilitation. You are autonomous, capable, with a well-developed sense of priorities. You can manage stress while facing multiple tasks and demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills, showing dynamism, communication abilities, and teamwork. You have a sense of responsibility and are reliable.This position requires flexible hours, with work spread over 5 days starting as soon as possible. Number of positions: 1. Activity rate: 60%.
