A fast-growing London-based network service provider is hiring a Network Sales Engineer with a passion for LAN and Wireless LAN technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at the forefront of delivering advanced connectivity solutions across diverse enterprise environments.

As a Network Sales Engineer, you'll serve as the technical authority during pre-sales engagements, specialising in enterprise LAN and wireless network solutions. You'll collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to design, demonstrate, and deliver wired and wireless network architectures leveraging Cisco and Juniper technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Support sales teams in customer meetings, presenting technical concepts and showcasing LAN/WLAN solutions.
  • Design & Consultancy: Architect scalable, secure and high-performance wired and wireless infrastructures.
  • Bid Support: Participate in RFIs/RFPs, create technical documentation, and assist with commercial proposals.
  • Technology Evangelism: Stay current on the latest innovations in campus networking, Wi-Fi standards, and network access control.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Technical Background: Strong understanding of enterprise LAN/WLAN technologies, including Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Wireless Controllers and Juniper EX & Mist platforms.
  • Hands-On Experience: Comfortable designing and discussing deployments involving VLANs, PoE switches, 802.1X, Wi-Fi 6, NAC, and RF planning.
  • Client-Focused: Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate them effectively.
  • Versatile: Confident working across a variety of verticals including corporate offices, campuses, retail, and industrial environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £60,000-£80,000 depending on experience
  • Commission: Up to 25% on top of base
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid - typically 2-3 days per week in the London office or on client sites
