Network Engineering Lead, IaC, Roadmap, SD-WAN, Cisco Wi-Fi, Network Monitoring tools

This is an exciting opportunity to join Networks Services during a transformative period for Networks, all while working in an inclusive, collaborative team that values your growth and ideas.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate Network solutions and services to achieve our goals.
  • Promote and enable the continuous enhancement of network processes through automation and orchestration.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce operating and change costs, enhance change accuracy, and adopt innovative approaches to how we deliver change and service.
  • Act as a technical leader within the team, sharing experience and expertise. Mentor others and influence a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure our people and processes are prepared for the future by aligning with bank and network strategies and contributing to how we transform Networks.
  • Bring consideration and confidence to complex Network solution decisions, ensuring alignment with industry practices and group technology policies to ensure solutions are engineered to be reliable, scalable, performant, accessible, and secure.
Skills required
  • Experience in leading an engineering team. Managing risk, meeting security standards, and prioritising the need to maintain and protect service versus the need to transform capabilities and experiences.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise Data Network operations, with exposure to Cisco Wi-Fi, ACI technologies, SD-WAN, and network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
  • Experience with Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling with proficiency in one or more: Python, Harness, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience creating and maintaining product roadmaps, managing technical debt, maintaining the health of production instances, and enabling skill development for target technology architectures.
  • Ability to own and unblock technical challenges and advocate forward-looking patterns and solutions ready for full use.
