We are seeking a Network Engineer - Optical (DWDM) to join a highly skilled network operations team supporting large-scale optical transport infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-capacity networks that connect critical digital services across multiple regions.

As part of the team, you will play a key role in maintaining network reliability, managing optical transport systems, supporting upgrades, and ensuring seamless connectivity across a large-scale production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate and support DWDM optical transport networks over fibre infrastructure
• Manage network events including fibre cuts, signal degradation, restoration, and rerouting activities
• Perform software upgrades on optical networking platforms within structured maintenance windows
• Troubleshoot optical transport issues and maintain network performance and availability
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external vendors
• Support change-managed network operations while ensuring minimal service impact

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' experience in DWDM or Optical Transport Networks
• Strong understanding of DWDM, ROADM, transponders, amplifiers, mux/demux, and fibre infrastructure
• Experience within Network Operations, NOC, Telecoms, ISP, Carrier, or Optical Operations environments
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities
• Experience working within structured change-management processesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
