Network Engineer

Our client - Local Government - is seeking an interim Network Engineer to lead critical infrastructure modernisation initiatives.

Key skills/experience:

• Proven experience acting as a Network Design Authority in complex public sector environments.
• Expertise in producing HLD and LLD documentation for enterprise-grade deployments.
• Strong background in VPN architecture.
• Hands on experience with RF optimisation, policy management, and Wi-Fi security hardening across multi-site estates.
• Deep understanding of Azure networking (IaaS), including secure connectivity and boundary design.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and security standards in public sector ICT environments.
