The Role: Network Checkpoint Engineer

Location: Sheffield, UK - Hybrid

Role type: Inside IR35 Contract

Job Description:

Project Work

• Work on Checkpoint Firewall evergreen upgrade, migration as well as Firewall testing
• Documentation Jira/Confluence
• Cisco networking skills, troubleshooting Cisco Switches, routing etc
• Checkpoint Maestro upgrades, migrations from NGFW to Security Group with VS
• Implementation and designing experience nice to have
• Change work/Migration: Change work expected 2/4 Saturdays in a month, time back in lieu (max 40 hour working week). They will work in their time zone but in some cases they will need to support other time zones.

Skill

• Experience with working on Check Point NGFW with various software blade
• Experience with R81.20 Check Point Scalable Platform - Maestro with VSX deployment
• Experience with Check Point basic architecture & components - SC, SMS, NGFW
• Experience with MDS in High-Availability environment.
• Experience with RMA process.
