Job Description: Functional Analyst

You will be integrated into a specialized Agile team focused on developing new web applications with a C# Back End and maintaining existing systems. As a Functional Analyst, you serve as the "right hand" to the Product Owner, acting as a driving force to ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions with the correct priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Engineering: Translating business analyses into functional requirements that the development team can implement effectively.
• Solution Design: Creating analyses and recommendations for custom business solutions that align with existing functional and technical architectures.
• Documentation: Developing clear analysis documents that serve as a roadmap for both developers and testers.
• Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality of deliverables and participating in sub-projects to meet overarching project goals.
• Collaboration: Working closely with internal/external stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and the development team.

Candidate Profile

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Functional or Business Analyst.
• Technical Background: Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development.
• Process Management: Proven experience in Business Process Management (BPM) and optimizing business operations via ICT.
• Agile Proficiency: 5+ years of experience writing User Stories and translating high-level business needs into actionable features.
• Documentation: Strong skills in documenting complex analyses and processes.
• Language: Native or near-native fluency in Dutch (CEFR Level C2).

Preferred Skills (Should-Have)

• Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage expectations across various levels of the organization.
• Project Management: Knowledge of cost estimation, timing, and planning.
• Modeling: 5+ years of experience with UML and BPMN modelling techniques.
• Scrum: 5+ years of experience working within a Scrum methodology.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure and database management.

Bonuses (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience working within the Belgian public sector.
• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
