Neighbourhood Manager - Make a Difference in Your Community
Do you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and helping communities thrive? As a Neighbourhood Manager, you'll be the face of Peabody in your area, delivering excellent housing management services and working closely with residents to create safe, well-managed and welcoming neighbourhoods.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work with residents, community groups, local authorities and internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and deliver positive outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing- Deliver a high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management service across your patch.
- Build strong relationships with residents, stakeholders and partner agencies to support thriving communities.
- Manage tenancy matters, safeguarding concerns, ASB cases and neighbourhood issues.
- Carry out estate inspections, welcome visits and resident engagement activities.
- Viewings and sign up of new tenancies
- Support vulnerable residents and work with specialist teams to coordinate appropriate support.
- Promote resident involvement and help shape local services through community feedback.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service in housing, community services or a similar environment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work independently.
- Experience working with residents, stakeholders and partner organisations.
- Knowledge of housing management or UK Housing Law is desirable.
- A housing qualification such as CIH/CIOH is desirable. Or be prepared to work towards one
- Knowledge or experience of HMO's would be desirable
- This is a field-based role, with approximately 60% of your time spent on-site within the community. The areas include Brent, Hackney and Westminster.
- You will be required to participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota.
- Flexibility is required to respond to customer and service needs.
