Job Description

As a Trainee NDT Technician, you will be an integral part of our Non-Destructive Testing team, working closely with experienced technicians to gain hands on experience and develop your skills. Our team conducts NDT inspections and assessments to ensure the integrity and safety of various industrial structures and equipment. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in the field of NDT.

Responsibilities
  • Assist senior technicians in conducting NDT inspections using various techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.
  • Learn and understand the principles and applications of NDT methods, ensuring accurate and reliable inspections.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Document inspection results accurately and efficiently, following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address any issues or anomalies found during inspections.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your NDT knowledge and skills.
  • Assist in data analysis and reporting, contributing to the overall quality control process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting efficiency and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in inspections and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with the team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel for on site inspections, if required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a technical or industrial setting
  • A strong interest in NDT and a willingness to learn and develop skills in this field
