National Sales Manager Grocery (South)

RedBull UK is currently recruiting for a National Sales Manager - Grocery (South) to be based in the South of the UK.
To strategically lead, manage, and coach a team of Regional Account Executives to drive availability and sales of RedBull products through our regional contact strategy with key Grocery customers. You will also ensure that the regional field sales plan is aligned with the Grocery channel strategy and overall GB business plan.
ResponsibilitiesAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
- Lead, manage, and coach Regional Account Executives in account management principles and ways of working. Utilize grocery data platforms, build contact matrices, and execute joint business plans.
- Review and measure team contributions to overall strategy.
- Support negotiations of joint business plans with regional groups and identify opportunities.
- Provide ongoing feedback aligned with the 70/20/10 learning journey.
- Spend time in trade visiting customers with each regional account executive.
- Participate in educational opportunities and maintain professional networks.
- Conduct monthly performance check-ins and quarterly reviews.
- Set and review goals and responsibilities for team members, including new starters.
- Communicate regularly with the team through meetings and updates.
- Engage in training and seek ways to improve self and team.
- Motivate the team and foster a positive work environment.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a talented team, creating a talent pool for the channel teams.
- Manage induction and probationary reviews for new hires.
- Recruit vacancies in line with budgets and timelines.
- Ensure effective coverage across the Grocery database and optimize journey planning.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions with case studies and ROI analysis.
- Collaborate with internal functions to maximize team effectiveness.
- FMCG background preferred but not essential.
- Proven regional or national account sales management experience (5+ years preferred).
- Strong sales planning, customer understanding, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop action plans.
- Knowledge of commercial metrics like cash margin and POR.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valid UK driving license.
Travel requirement: 70-80%
