Overview

As more families choose Comfort Keepers, we're seeking a compassionate and experienced National Disabilities Manager to lead and develop our disability homecare services nationwide.

This role is responsible for the management, coordination, and delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for children and adults with disabilities, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards, safeguarding requirements, and company policies.

Responsibilities

Lead the national disability homecare services, manage teams, coordinate care delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, build relationships with stakeholders, and support children with complex needs.

Qualifications
  • Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Nursing, Disability Studies, or a related discipline.
  • CORU registration or active NMBI registration is essential.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing disability services.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies.
  • Strong understanding of HIQA standards, safeguarding, and homecare regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
  • Frequent travel throughout Ireland.
  • Experience supporting children with complex needs.
  • Training in safeguarding, manual handling, and medication management.
