Summary

This role involves the day-to-day management of the retail account business and aims to maximize profitable sales growth in categories such as Slow Cook, RTC, and BBQ. It also includes developing new business within Cranswick Country & Convenience Foods. The role reports to the Account Controller for Tesco and is multi-site based, with communication across Watton, Sherburn, and Milton Keynes.

Main duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing daily operations of the account through effective management of orders and supply chain relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate forecast and demand plans, including budget planning.
  • Understanding and interpreting site financials versus budgets and scrutinizing P&L statements.
  • Driving supply chain strategy for the respective areas.
  • Coordinating and contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual review meetings.
  • Driving NPD and EPD initiatives to increase profit and sales across all channels for both Cranswick and the customer.
  • Optimizing service quality, product offerings, business growth, and customer satisfaction wherever possible.
  • Ensuring customer KPIs are understood and maintained satisfactorily.
  • Exploring new business opportunities.

Skills and experience

  • Chilled and retail experience required (Top 4)
  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and NPD processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
