Nanny/Family PA for a family of five near Gloucester

A confident and engaging Nanny/Family PA is required for a family of five near Gloucester. The role covers their current Nanny's maternity leave starting July. The ideal candidate will have some SEN experience as all three children have additional needs of varying degree. They are boys aged 13 and 10 and a girl aged 9. All enjoy the outdoors, swimming and animals - an interest in these areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• All childcare duties for the three children, with particular attention to their SEN needs.
• Support children in outdoor activities, swimming and interactions with farm animals.
• Provide assistance around the home and support the family's farm shop as required.
• Work independently as a sole charge caregiver, remaining flexible with hours and tasks.

The position is a sole charge role. It requires a self sufficient, "muck in" attitude and the ability to work autonomously within a busy family environment.

Work hours and location

• 37 hours per week, including one full day on a weekend.
• Hours and days may be flexible to suit the right candidate.
• Location: Whaddon.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of childcare experience (SEN experience desirable).
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate (12 hour) - required.
• Enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service - required.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of whom is your current or last employer, both immediately contactable.
• Own car; driving essential, with possible use of car on duty.
• Willingness to work in a farming environment with dogs and ponies.

Pay

£16 gross per hour.
