Nanny role in Hersham, Surrey

Overview

A family in Hersham, Surrey is seeking a kind, highly organized, proactive nanny to care for their three children. The role includes after-school care during term time (28 hours per week, afternoons) and full-time care during school holidays (53 hours). Some children are not in school yet and there is a young baby, so the candidate must be confident with baby care and able to manage both sole and shared care. The family also has a small dog that will need walking during term time (Monday to Thursday).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for three children, including a baby, with a mix of sole and shared care as required.
• Perform standard nursery duties and prepare meals for children.
• Plan and accompany children on activities outside and at home; create engaging activities.
• Walk the family's dog Monday to Thursday during term time.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Nanny experience with babies through school age.
• First aid training (1st aid) and an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
• Minimum of two professional references who can be contacted; one must be the current or last employer.
• Professional insurance for nanny work is recommended.
• Valid right to work in the UK; willingness to use own car for driving duties.

• Hours: Term time - Monday to Thursday 1-7pm; Friday 1pm-5pm. School holidays - Monday to Thursday 8am-7pm; Friday 8am-5pm.
