The Role
You will teach MYP English Language and Literature, delivering high-impact lessons that engage students in reading, writing, analysis and creative expression. As part of our English Faculty, you will deliver lessons with rigour, creativity and relevance for young readers. You will foster a love of reading and critical thinking through modern literature, contemporary novels and culturally diverse texts.

You will lead reading-focused enrichment activities such as book clubs, author talks, writing competitions and events including Banned Book Week and World Book Day. You will support students in developing analytical, evaluative and writing skills across a range of literary forms. You will contribute to collaborative planning, curriculum development and moderation, and build strong professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

We are seeking a high-performing English specialist with MYP experience and a proven ability to engage young people with reading while developing strong literary analysis skills. You will have a passion for modern literature, creative approaches and student enrichment.
