Community Technician In order to strengthen its technical service team, the Municipality of Vandœuvres is opening a position for a Community Technician. Under the direction of the manager, the main responsibilities will be to: - Plan and design regular civil engineering works;- Manage the maintenance program for roads and wastewater networks;- Control the opening and closing of excavations on municipal property carried out by third parties;- Implement the municipal waste management policy;- Apply sustainability policies by coordinating concrete actions to meet the environmental commitments of the Municipality and the Canton;- Collaborate in the monitoring of municipal projects;- Ensure the maintenance of street lighting, cemeteries, and forests;- Address community members' queries regarding civil engineering and infrastructure;- Keep abreast of technical developments in the field;- Substitute for the service manager in their technical functions.To successfully carry out these missions, the sought profile includes:- An ES diploma or equivalent, preferably a vocational certificate related to one of the civil engineering fields;- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the public sector;- Solid knowledge of the challenges and techniques related to the maintenance of networks and public domains;- Familiarity with the standards and usual procedures in this area of activity;- Solution-oriented mindset, good priority management, proficiency in French (oral and written), any other language is an advantage;- A valid Class B driver's license (travel in Switzerland or valid work permit).We offer:- A pleasant working environment;- Good social benefits and encouragement for continuous development;- A dynamic and competent team.Start date: May or to be agreed upon.We will only respond to those who meet the requested profile.
