Reed Recruitment is working in partnership with a well established and growing food manufacturing business based in the Craigavon area. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking two Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their engineering team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who are confident working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines within a fast paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime
• Maintain and support a range of automated and semi automated equipment
• Work closely with production teams to ensure maximum machine efficiency
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and food hygiene standards
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

Essential Skills & Experience

• Recognised mechanical and electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a multi skilled engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical fault finding skills (control panels, motors, sensors, inverters)
• Solid mechanical maintenance experience (conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics)
• Experience with PPM systems and breakdown maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
• Awareness of GMP, HACCP, and hygiene standards
• PLC fault finding experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred)
• Experience with packaging machinery or automated production lines
