Job Role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a top manufacturing company based near Dagenham. The Engineer will join a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers to fulfill the maintenance programme on site. The company has been established for over 50 years and holds a large percentage of market share.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non Negotiable Requirements

• Multi skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Hands on experience with pre planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory

Requirements

• Wiring up electrical controls panels and electrical fault finding
• Reading electrical drawings
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working as a maintenance engineer in the food or FMCG sector
• Experience with packaging machinery
