Compensation and Shift Details:

• Starting salary: £44,977, up to £46,400
• Shifts: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 rotating; weekend overtime at x1.5 Saturdays and x2 Sundays
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Company pension included

Role Responsibilities:

• Attending breakdowns and repairs promptly
• Ordering spares and repairs within maintenance budget
• Performing planned preventative maintenance on machinery including conveyors, packaging equipment, and test equipment
• Electrical repairs and installations
• Adhering to health and safety and food safety legislation

Candidate Requirements:

• Electrical engineering qualifications - ESSENTIAL
• Fault finding and diagnostic experience
• Strong electrical competence with mechanical awareness, hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding, control panel experience (contactors, motors, starters, inverters, PLCs)
• Ability to interpret control panels and wiring diagrams
• Plastic extruder, robot, or machine fabrication experience is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
• Own tools required; tools and specialist equipment will be provided
