Multi Skilled Engineer

The Opportunity

We're seeking a passionate Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team and grow into a pivotal quality leadership role. This position combines hands-on engineering expertise with the opportunity to develop and lead our quality initiatives, creating a zero-tolerance environment for quality issues.

What You'll Do

Initial Responsibilities:

• Apply your mechanical engineering skills to optimize our extrusion and injection moulding processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across production lines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality concerns.

Growth Into Quality Leadership:

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems.
• Lead the creation of a zero-tolerance quality culture across all operations.
• Design and execute quality control protocols and testing procedures.
• Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Establish key performance indicators and quality metrics.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in extrusion/thermoforming processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Genuine interest in quality management and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable:

• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Knowledge of statistical process control.
