MSAT Senior Scientist I (DSP) or MSAT Scientist II (DSP)

Purpose of Job
In Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT), we aim to accelerate the development of novel gene therapies, from discovery to commercialization, by creating faster and more efficient manufacturing processes.
Process development scientists at MeiraGTx combine a strong understanding of chemical and biological processes with advanced experimental and computational tools to develop robust, scalable manufacturing processes quickly. MSAT scientists work closely within a team but are expected to take individual responsibility for delivering results and fostering their own ideas.
The successful candidate will focus on developing downstream and drug product unit operations for manufacturing novel AAV gene therapies. They will be responsible for advancing new products from initial process development through to transfer into GMP manufacturing, supporting clinical production and commercialization.
