MPM2379 Personal Assistant

• Assist the individual in developing independent living and social skills.
• Encourage community participation.
• Provide personal care support (the role is specifically for a male supporter).
• Maintain a bubbly personality and engage in light banter.
• Share common interests where possible to build rapport.
• Offer reassurance and guidance when needed.
• Take proactive steps and problem solve independently.
• Remain patient as the working and trusting relationship develops.
• Adapt to changes in shifts, days, and times on short notice.
• Own a vehicle and be willing to drive for work purposes and to take the individual on outings.

The position requires satisfactory references and a DBS disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed before employment starts. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

This is a part time role. It is a legitimate position that requires the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
