Motor Vehicle Technician

Job Overview
Due to the acquisition of an additional service centre, we are seeking TWO skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. Salary is negotiable depending on experience with overtime available.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and repair tasks.
Conduct equipment repairs and ensure all machinery is functioning optimally.
Assist in heavy lifting when required during vehicle repairs or maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Experience in equipment repair, including familiarity with welding techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for various tasks.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
