Motor Vehicle Technician

Job entails mostly fitting motorhome towbars and bolt on chassis extensions Levelling systems and Air suspension, all kits are bolt on systems but do require some drilling and cutting etc. A-frame fitment to cars we require although Training will be provided.

Also to fit plug and play dedicated vehicle specific wiring kits. Experience fitting towing electrics is essential. Car towbar experience is more than enough and training will be given for motorhomes if required.

At Towtal We also fit Levelling Systems, Air suspension, and other chassis based accessories and Car A-frames, in busy periods it may be necessary to assist other employees in fitting these products, This has the potential to expand your own skill sets.

Some Towbars to fitted to premium motorhomes with value of in excess of £200,000

We have introduced a 3 month probation period from the start date due to applicants applying and not having the skill set we expect for the role,

Required to fit around 1-3 Motorhome towbars a day (Vehicle Dependant)

Must be competent in using:

Lifting equipment, Power Tools, Engineering machinery (Pillar drills/Band saw etc)

Have Good housekeeping

Good communication Skills

Team work skills

Salary is starting £30,000 on a 3 month review, it will increase once the 3 month review has passed
