MECHANIC / FITTER - CONCRETE PUMPING EQUIPMENT

Location: South East (Yard-Based with Occasional Site Work)
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive + Overtime Available

AS Solutions Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic / Fitter for one of our long-standing clients - a well-established Concrete Pumping company expanding their operations across the South East.

This role would suit a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical knowledge of concrete boom and line pumps , as well as HGV vehicles and associated hydraulics/electrics .

Key Responsibilities:

Routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on concrete pumps and vehicles
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults
Carry out on-site breakdowns when required
Ensure all equipment is maintained to meet operational and safety standards
Support the wider maintenance team to minimise downtime

Requirements:

Proven experience working on concrete boom or line pumps
Strong understanding of HGV systems, hydraulics, and electrics
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Reliable, safety-conscious, and proactive in approach
Full UK driving licence preferred
