We are hiring for our client, a top Irish law firm, seeking an experienced Mortgage Enforcement Legal Executive to join its established team in Dublin.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Executive with proven experience in mortgage enforcement, repossessions or secured lending litigation to join a highly regarded practice. The successful Mortgage Enforcement Legal Executive will manage a busy caseload, work closely with senior fee earners and play a key role in progressing matters efficiently from instruction through to resolution.

The Role

As a Mortgage Enforcement Legal Executive, you will:



  • Manage a portfolio of mortgage enforcement and repossession matters

  • Prepare and review court documentation, pleadings and correspondence

  • Progress files through the relevant stages of enforcement proceedings

  • Liaise with clients, borrowers, counsel, sheriffs and other third parties

  • Coordinate court dates, hearings and procedural deadlines

  • Prepare briefs and supporting documentation for counsel

  • Maintain accurate file records and provide regular client updates

  • Assist senior fee earners with complex or contested matters
  • Ensure files are progressed efficiently and in line with client requirements

  • Support billing and wider administrative requirements where necessary


The Person

The successful candidate will have:



  • Previous experience working in mortgage enforcement, repossessions or a closely related area

  • Experience within a law firm or specialist legal environment

  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage enforcement process

  • Excellent organisational and file-management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confident communication skills when dealing with clients and external parties

  • The ability to manage a busy caseload and competing deadlines

  • A proactive and dependable approach to work
