Job Description

Modern Apprentice - Administration Support - 12 months

Salary - £24,479 - 35 hours per week

Shire Housing Association Limited is a highly respected housing provider with its Head Office in Cumnock.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our staff team as a Modern Apprentice providing administration support across the business. As part of this one year post, you will complete a Modern Apprenticeship in Digital Applications Support. The course content will be customised to fit your role. This is a great way to learn many different skills and get invaluable work experience whilst earning a salary.

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, can use their initiative and can work well in a team. We will provide all of the relevant on the job training and support in addition to any online training of the qualification.

Once trained, responsibilities will include:

  • Reception duties, greeting customers and visitors as the first point of contact.
  • Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
  • Managing mail
  • Recording communications in our IT systems
  • Recording repairs
  • Processing invoices from suppliers
  • Maintaining spreadsheets
