Mobile Plant & Vehicle Mechanic

As a Mobile Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile plant equipment across various sites. You'll enjoy the independence of working in the field, supported by a strong office and workshop team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on a range of plant equipment (excavators, Plant trailers, Telehandlers, etc.).
Fault diagnosis using diagnostic tools and manuals.
Conduct safety inspections and complete service reports.
Liaise with clients and site supervisors to ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work vehicle.

Requirements:

Trade Qualification - Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent).
Proven experience working with mobile plant equipment.
Current Driver's License (HR/MR license desirable).
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Construction White Card.
Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
