Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Mobile Mental Health Back Up Practitioner to join our dynamic team. A Mobile Mental Health Back Up Practitioner does not require a license but must be able to provide professional staff (Licensed Clinicians) with backup duties within the Mobile Mental Health Team. Practitioners are required to be skilled in clinical triage and assessment of all emergency, urgent, and routine calls. In addition, the MMHT Practitioner:

• Responds to all calls to the MMHT with the base clinician.

• Assists in assessing individuals to provide support needed to divert an ER visit or hospitalization.

• Assesses calls as a backup to the Base as needed and determines appropriate clinical responses as authorized by the licensed clinician on the team.

• Develops exceptional follow-up and diversion planning for individuals served by the Mobile team.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

- 1-3 years of experience in a Human Service-related field and/or lived experience as a consumer of behavioral health services or experience with the Mental Health population.

- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field required.
