Mobile mechanic

We are looking for in-field mechanics or experienced cyclists who are interested working on an e-bike and performing bike repairs on-route (out of warehouse).

Duties

Diagnosing, repairing, and performing quality control (QC) on e-bikes and scooters
Deploying e-bikes and scooters to proper locations
Marking broken e-bikes and scooters for retrieval via the app
Retrieving any loose batteries found on the street
Facing the public
Reporting decayed vehicles
Neatly aligning vehicles
Picking up tipped-over vehicles and rebalancing them
Clearing trash from baskets
Helping clear backlog in the warehouse when needed

Skills

Confidence riding and operating an electric bike
Experience as a mechanic
Ability to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 35kg items frequently
Ability to stay physically active throughout the day
Ability to operate mobile device with app-based workflows
Communication skills - can easily follow instructions
Time management - work through the shift without being idle

Shift patterns: Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday-SaturdayShifts (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).

Location: Tasks are assigned at least an hour before start of shift - working area changes every day depending on tasks volume and task priority.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £14.15 per hour
