A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a _Mobile Service Technician_ to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at our Forfar branch and cover areas across Angus and Aberdeenshire.
We are open to hearing from experienced technicians as well as candidates with experience in a similar role who have a desire to upskill as full manufacturer training will be provided. We offer market leading rates of pay which are negotiable depending on experience as well as a £2,000 Welcome Bonus. We also run an employee referral scheme where colleagues can receive up to £1,000 for each successful technician referral.

The Role
The ideal candidate will be competent in the roadside repair of vehicles to the highest of standards but Roadside Safety training would be available for a skilled Technician looking to branch out into this area. Experience of working on Ford vehicles will also be an advantage but not a requirement as full manufacturer training will be provided. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge with a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
_The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:_
Service and repair of a wide range of vehicles.
Warranty diagnosis and rectification
Fault-finding, diagnostic investigation, and repair of a range of Ford vehicles.
Maintain Mobile Service Van and all equipment to a high standard.
Attend Henry Ford Training Academy for essential training and key skill development.
Carrying out any other reasonable task which may arise.
_The key skills and qualities required for the role are:_
A good level of technical knowledge, ability and experience in the mechanical repair of Light Commercial Vehicles.
Ford experience desirable but not essential.
Mobile working experience desirable but not essential.
Ability to organise own workload, work on own initiative and to strict deadlines.
Flexible approach to working hours.
Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
A current full driving License.
PC skills and proficiency are preferable.
