About the Role

This is a mobile role covering school sites across Nottinghamshire, with travel required between locations. You will be working 16.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:45 to 14:00, term time only, 39.2 weeks per year, earning £12.71 per hour. Mileage is paid for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff
• Ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health standards
• Assisting with stock and basic kitchen duties
• Working as part of a team across different locations
• Supporting multiple sites, helping deliver an efficient and friendly catering service to pupils and staff

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering, kitchen, or customer service environment is beneficial
• Positive and flexible approach to working across multiple sites
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to travel between sites
• Good communication and organisation skills
• The right to work in the UK; Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
