Mobile Crane Mechanic

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of our mobile crane fleet. You will be required to work within our yard and remotely when a breakdown occurs. This role requires mechanical knowledge, preferable familiarisation and knowledge of cranes and the ability to work solo and as part of a team.

Duties and Requirements:
- Mechanical qualification preferable
- Full drivers license
- Familiarisation of hand tools to dismantle, weld and fit mobile cranes
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality control standards are met
- Maintaining our fleet efficiently to ensure it operates to full capacity
- Operate forklifts or other machinery as required

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role preferred
- Previous experience with mobile cranes not required but encouraged
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

Suitable candied must be willing to be flexible within the role and be able to work variable hours

Company van will be provided and hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience
