Mixed Veterinary Surgeon - 80%LA and 20%SA

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Engage in varied large animal caseloads, including dairy, beef, and sheep work.
• Participate in herd health planning, fertility work, preventative medicine, and routine farm veterinary services.
• Spend approximately 20% of your time in a busy and growing small animal department.
• Utilize modern facilities and technology, including an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, and dedicated surgical facilities.
• Contribute to the continued growth of farm services and develop strong client relationships.

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon.
• Strong skills in both large animal and small animal veterinary care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to high standards of veterinary care and proactive veterinary medicine.

This role offers a competitive salary of €60,000-€70,000, depending on experience, and participation in a 1-in-4 weekend rota with manageable out-of-hours commitment.
