Mixed Tax Assistant Manager

This firm is a leading firm of accountants and business advisers, operating UK-wide with exposure to a wide range of clientele, including SME, OMB, and corporates, from FTSE listed businesses to smaller enterprises.

Ideally, this role would be a mix of corporate and personal work, where you will play a pivotal role and take ownership of a portfolio of clients, with the freedom to manage it independently, supported by ongoing mentorship from the Partners and senior management team.

Some of the work you can expect to undertake includes:

• Managing a variety of compliance matters.
• Acting as the primary point of contact with clients, working closely with them to understand their business development needs.
• Ensuring clients stay up to date with their compliance obligations and legislative changes, assessing the impact for them, and identifying new opportunities.
• Reviewing tax returns and computations.
• Ensuring the efficient and risk-managed delivery of services.
• Responsible for adhering to all internal risk management procedures.

The skills and experience you will bring:

• CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT (or equivalent) qualification.
• Experience working with clients from various industries; exposure to multiple sectors is a distinct advantage.
• Previous experience in Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax roles within a practice environment is essential.
