Job Description

Minibus Driver

Location: EH16 4BB
Rate of Pay: £14.51 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week
Duration: Temporary Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP

Valid UK driving licence with D1 category
This role is subject to a PVG check - new applicants £59, update applications £18.
Full training, PPE, and overtime opportunities provided.

The PCV Driver will:

Safely transport passengers to and from school, day centres, and community activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Provide assistance when boarding and leaving the vehicle, offering patient and respectful support tailored to each individual's needs.
Carry out daily vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and promptly report any maintenance concerns.
Build positive and trusting relationships with passengers, families, and staff, promoting a calm and friendly atmosphere.
Follow all road safety regulations and organisational policies to the highest standard.
Have previous experience supporting children or adults with additional needs or vulnerabilities (highly desirable).
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be compassionate, patient, and committed to safeguarding and wellbeing
