MIG Welder Fabricator - Walsall

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Walsall on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday shifts, long-term career opportunities and a relaxed, supportive workshop environment.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a MIG Welder, Fabricator, Fabrication Welder, Metal Worker or Sheet Metal Fabricator.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.00 - £16.00 per hour

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday • 07:00 - 16:30 • Some flexibility available

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a MIG Welder Fabricator, your duties will include:

• Performing high-quality MIG welding • Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings • Fabricating and assembling metal components • Handling and storing materials safely within the workshop • Carrying out routine maintenance on machinery and tools • Collaborating with team members to resolve production issues • Using measurements and calculations to ensure accurate production • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures • Supporting general workshop duties where required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a MIG Welder Fabricator you will need:

• Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience • Strong mechanical knowledge • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment • Good attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication skills • Proactive approach to problem-solving

Training Provided:

• Industry-related training provided • Ongoing support throughout the assignment
