Mid/Senior Developer - Contract Role

We are seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Developer for an initial 6 month contract assignment. (Duration is very likely to extend)

The ideal candidate will be a part of a large Customer digital experience programme of projects which has been running since Jan 2024 with most development happing in the past 6 months

The role can be carried out in hybrid working model of 2/3 days per week on site either in Warrington or York and the rest remote. (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities:

• Enabling transition from Project to Product Management.
• Embedding disciplined code promotion process
• Improving code quality
• Improving observability of app
• Advise around best practices to follow regarding development

Essential:

• experience of JavaScript, typescript, next.js and node.js
• experience of Git flow development approach
• Experience of developing for Azure Function Apps
• Experience of Git Hub Enterprise
• Experience of developing apps for hosting in Azure
• Experience working in Scrum teams
• Good standard of markdown documentation

Desirable

• Infrastructure as code experience especially Bicep very desirable.
