Microsoft Platform Services Deputy Team Lead

My client are looking for an experienced Deputy Team Lead to join their dedicated Microsoft Platform Services team and provide additional team leadership, stakeholder management and service ownership expertise. A solid understanding of Microsoft Platform infrastructure is required, allied with strong team management and service delivery experience.

The successful applicant will lead on service design, service delivery and service management for Microsoft Platform Services. This will include contributing to the service continuity plan and continuous service improvements and well as working with senior stakeholders to define and implement a sustainable service delivery model.

The role requires very strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to effectively manage third party supplier relationships and manage technical resources on a day to day basis. Demonstrable technical team management experience is essential, ideally with a strong demonstrable background in leading infrastructure teams focussed on Microsoft and related technologies.

Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability positively influence a wide range of direct reports and work effectively with senior stakeholders. Experience of working in an ITIL environment is highly desirable.

This role allows for hybrid working with a weekly presence onsite required.
